Drive-In Pallet Racking Solutions
Drive-in pallet racking systems are ideal for situations where bulk storage and highly efficient use of space in your facility are essential. To provide forklift truck access, this system includes an operating aisle and features rows of pallet storage lanes. Drive-in systems can store pallets up to 10-deep, operate on a Last In First Out (LIFO) basis, and are compatible with standard forklifts.
Drive-in racking allows space utilisation that, typically, splits at 70 per cent for the storage area and 30 per cent for the operational area.

APPLICATIONS
Drive-in racking systems allow forklifts to enter from one side only, so pallets are stored and retrieved from the same direction. It is suitable for LIFO (last in, first out) inventory management, where the most recently stored items are the first to be accessed.
Drive-in pallet racking systems are designed for the bulk storage of pallets where there is a minimal requirement for structured pallet turnover, which makes them suitable for a range of applications.
Drive-in pallet racking systems are ideal for non-perishable goods where bulk storage is required. They are particularly common for seasonal goods, where pallets containing similar items can be stored in bulk until required in the next seasonal cycle.
Drive-in pallet racking systems are also popular in situations where bulk storage is required for single product lines. The dairy industry is an excellent example of this kind of situation. Here, a single product can fill one or more aisles in a drive-in racking system, with a fast and complete turnover of products before the new batch comes into the facility.
