Like many Kiwi companies Storepro had humble beginnings.

Starting out in a room at the back of his garage, Aaron Young established Storepro in 2004 with a clear goal in mind – to provide complete racking solutions that improve business productivity.

Since day one, we’ve strived to live up to the ‘pro’ in our name. To be a business that leads the way in innovative and customer-focused storage systems. One that’s uncompromising in its quality and safety standards. Yet, a business that’s personal and approachable too.

It’s an ethos that still shapes the way we do business.

Innovation has been the key to Storepro’s success. I realised early on that we needed to do more than just flog a product. Anyone can do that. The objective was always to provide racking solutions that made our clients more productive – increasing their storage and flow efficiencies through simple, compliant and clever warehouse fit out, design and technology.

Operating with those founding principles in mind, Storepro has grown to become New Zealand’s largest privately-owned pallet racking and industrial shelving company. Our client list is extensive, covering a full spectrum of industries from 3PL’s to food to factories, and we’ve been involved in hundreds of major storage projects. We take pride in knowing that many of our clients have been with us for years, growing their business alongside ours.

There are few more of us now too. Ian Palliser and Dalila Zaghal joined the Storepro whanau in March 2024, becoming major shareholders alongside Aaron. They are based on Auckland’s North Shore with their family and have brought with them a wealth of business experience and strategic thinking, having worked in several large-sized corporations, both in New Zealand and overseas.

Today, our team has over 40 staff who offer more than 200 years of combined industry experience. We have branches and distributers throughout the country, ensuring extensive coverage throughout Auckland, Waikato, Central North Island, and the South Island.

And yet we’re still the same approachable and down to earth Kiwi company that began back in 2004.
